Allenwood Community Development Association was formed in 1994, following the closure of the Bord Na Mona ESB Generation Station. The company has undergone significant changes during the period 1994 to 2011.

Welcome to ACDAL. We are a Community Development Centre located in Allenwood, Co Kildare. The company is a Not for Profit Social Enterprise,
which facilitates the development of small businesses, by providing low cost Industrial and Office accommodation, to entrepreneurs.
Business Growth and Development is enhanced by pooling and sharing of supports from both the local business development organisations and the business expertise of the companies using the Enterprise Centre.
New business growth is assisted by the provision of onsite Childcare Facilities (Bright Sparks) and Fetac Accredited Training, in our Well Equipped Training Centre. There are training courses to suit both the business and individual training needs.

Enterprise Park
The Park is located at a central point within 12 miles of Kildare’s major towns Naas, Newbridge, Kildare, Rathangan and Edenderry in County Offaly and in the same close proximity to Celbridge, Leixlip, and Lucan. The centre therefore serves a population of 71,691 in a 12-mile radius of Northwest Kildare and Offaly.
Training
Allenwood IT Centre is now part of ACDAL Community Service Program, this allows us to offer more training to the community at LOW, LOW prices.

Facilities
All of the Training and Conference Facilities are available for Hire at competitive rates. We have several qualified tutors with experience in a wide area of subjects
